Owls Talk makes good reading, they think that they are going to have the book thrown at them.

They should have the book thrown and them and hammered, not because of who they are but with the Bury and Bolton fiasco fresh in the minds the league need to make a strong statement to put other clubs off.

Nothing will happen as per. They might get a few points taken off them when they’re guaranteed safety. There is no reward for following the rules.

Is this the first, tiniest, inkling of a sign that the playing field is getting more level?

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Sooner or later, the debt levels of Championship clubs will sound their death knell, but it'll take several Big Clubs to fold before anything drastically changes. In the meantime, we have a sustainable club and a plan. A part of me would happily drop back to L1 rather than do business with feckers like these.

The EFL will do nothing, a slap on the wrist and nothing more, they are a MASSIVE club after all.

Now if it was Barnsley they'd throw the book.

My wendy mate has just offered me a £5 bet they don't get relegated. I'd accept but you know those Wednesday types. It's a £5 transaction now but in two years time it will be written up as 62 million quid
