We have to disagree, I am not sure where in the ground you sit but it was smack in front of us & Styles was going at a fair lick of pace & any contact would fetch him over , as for Anderson & Helick , I did not see either of those incidents as I do not think they happened at the end where I am sat & I am virtually a pitch length away from the North stand so my view is restricted therefore I cannot comment , I do know this that the stats show we have had only one penalty given this season & I cannot believe that we have only been fouled once in 16 games in the opposition box , unbelievable Geoff .
Just about every corner, Helik and Andersen were having their shirts pulled or being held. I thought these things were supposed to be getting clamped down on, but I'm guessing the authorities have binned the idea because we're certainly not seeing much punishment. I watched it on ifollow (after the event). There doesn't seem to be any attempt to tackle him. Contact doesn;t mean it's a foul necessarily, it's just that any slight contact now and players cheat. In this instance Styles just seems to stop moving his legs to flop and dive. It's the same dive I've seen him do so many times (and I think he's been booked for simulation a few times too), so frankly as soon as I see the Styles belly flop, it just looks like a dive. Shame, I like him as a player. I just don't like the cheating.
