The brand of football is just better in general. Possession based play without the tika-taka nonsense. willing runners, long balls without being aimless long balls pumped up front. Pressing high in defense. Classic wing play with skillful players, trickery and quality balls into the box. Conor deserves a lot of praise and whoever recruited Vickers and Cleary do too. Really nice and refreshing to watch a team you love and actually be entertained by them.

 

There's a reason Luca is captain, though. He's the mouthpiece on the pitch. If he can stick to being Luca Connell, though, and not try to be Scholes with his passing, we'll be reyt.
