I didn't hear that last season at all. But I literally think I only saw about 4 games all season. ;-)

 

It was said many times, and so frustrating. Playing some lovely football at times and being absolutely dreadful in the final third.

 

I think I might literally have only seen the Leeds and Brentford games under Struber. Trying to think prior.... i think we lost to Brentford on Sky where Cauley got that fabulous early goal then did Watkins get a hat trick? Can't think what other game I saw, but we must have been on Sky before those 2 late games.

 

The early games were under Stendel.

 

Yes, the home Brentford game was Stendel. Did we have any other Sky games that season, under either coach?

 

Yes Derby County and Bristol City at home under Stendel and Murray. The other two were under Struber Leeds and Brentford away. The rest were on the Red Button.

 

I can't say I remember anything at all about Derby or Bristol City (though I'm guessing it finished in the usual mandatory 2-2 v Bristol!)

 

We equalised in the last minute of both games Derby County 2-2 and yes Bristol City 2-2.

 

I think I might have to watch the highlights of that season back. I think i might have seen Brum away on the red button, think that was early doors.

 

There weren't many. Brum away was a miserable night.

 

I like Palmer. He’s tenacious, got quick feet and can pick a pass. I think he needs to work on his shooting a little bit but I suppose if he could do everything, he wouldn’t be here.

I’m looking forward to him being in our midfield for a few years at least.
