Well people are going to discuss it if you create a thread and include that as one of the key points... hardly anyone's else fault is it when you brought it up in the first place?
Potts wasn't a world beater but we should have had a replacement or similar or better standard before letting him go. Maybe the club were looking to lose some midfielders and saw it as a good deal. Also maybe he showed a desire to leave. Who knows. There must be good reasons behind it. There has been a lot less selling off of players than when PC cashed in his chips. The sale of Bree, Winnall and Connor was the last straw for me after seeing it time and time again and i wont even go over the John Stones sale again. I stopped with a season ticket after that and chose to do stuff with the family, get some things done at home and save some money in the process. Until i see us actually trying to do something as a team again and not just be seen as an investment vehicle i'll carry on doing what i'm doing. I still follow us and watch some game son the net and sky if i can but realised its not the be all and end all so a lot less emotive about stuff like this. There will be life after Brad Potts Nudge...
Of course that’s possible but history shows us that more often than not losing key players in January has massively weakened us even when we’ve signed replacements
