It's not an argument, poor or otherwise. It's just based on my knowledge of the disabled people I know.

My little one technically qualifies for the non sighted section though we havent used it because she doesn’t really need it. We did get shown round and it’s much poorer than many clubs. Shame when John Dennis ran things and I used to volunteer it was top notch.

Why should the helper, who probably doesn’t care about BFC, have to pay towards a season ticket out of their wages to support their client?

I've never sat in the disabled area; can anyone who has explain in what way view is restricted?

In regards of the increase, it does seem quite excessive but it just seems to be bringing the cost into line with prices elsewhere in the ground. The whole pricing structure needs to be reviewed in my opinion especially considering the league we find ourselves in next season.

Certainly the timing of this increase is poor to say the least.

My mate sits in his normal seat with a headset.

Last season, Villa with all their money, promised him a headset but on arrival they knew nowt about it and couldn't even locate one for him.

I imagine it'll be worse in league one next season.

    I
'm not suggesting they should, but most helpers are fans. All the ones I know are.

Surely if the club is looking at improving the "match day experience" this should apply to the disabled supporters as well.
If an increase was being made for better facilities I may be able to see a case for it, but as it is, it is a major publicity mistake.
I've never been in the disabled stand either. I'm glad we have facilities for disabled supporters, but if they are in need of improvement / enlarging now would be a very good time for the new owners to look at it. We have vast areas of the ground empty for god's sake.

We used Burton who were brilliant and Hull equally good.

Most clubs have got it sorted, but a few let them down. Millwall failed us twice last season, as do Barnsley every time the sky cameras turn up - you can put money on it happening.

My mates secretary of the disabled supporters association so he's not the best bloke to let down with the commentary.

One thing I do know, is its a hard job doing a commentary of sorts, especially when people are looking at you like you're mad

What about it? There's no reason they shouldn't pay the same as everybody else. There are handicapped people who work in the same place as I do, on the same wage as I am, working the same hours, but they require additional help so they get adjustable desks or specialist equipment. They don't get a discount in the canteen.

Can’t even be arsed to argue tbh with that kind of logic. But for instance you do realise there are various levels of disability that prevent or severely compromise those people’s earning level?

The ticket prices are not based upon income. If you believe that those with limited income should be given cheap tickets then fair enough, but why should that be limited to people with a disability? The price is the price as far as I'm concerned.

The price increase is totally unjustified. The view from the disabled stand is pretty poor. I took my granddad in there a few times some years back and wasn’t that impressed. For the number of disabled fans, the increased revenue is negligible for billionaire owners and the poor PR it creates is very damaging. Stupid and pretty disgusting decision imo.
