    Exactly, and Im still baffled to know what he did that was so terrible at Norwich ?
    If he makes the Nobbers struggle then thats good for us, but I think they could have done a lot worse than Alex.

    To be fair, you could say the same of Arsene Wenger, Gerard Houllier and Jose Mourinho as well.

    Maybe predicting relegation was a bit harsh but we'll see

    I don't see why he's a bad appointment. He struggled last season with Norwich but stats show it's very hard to bounce straight back.

    Before that he's got a good track record

    A mantra on here is if Barnsley sign a player from one of the previous season's relegated clubs, it automatically meant the player is rubbish and we will be relegated, too. Last season Rotherham United were probably the worst second tier team for donkey's years. However, Cardiff City have signed three of their players this calendar year (Halford, Camp & Ward), yet I've not seen it mentioned that they are doomed to relegation.
    Perhaps the mantra only works for Barnsley.:D
