Imo the teams who take them to court would have to argue their case fir finishing in a promotion spot first and I doubt any could tbh you’d have to pick two from four and one from about eight imo .
But he is inferring that 3 teams should be promoted. Never mentioning 3 should be relegated. As your ASSUMPTION is based on flow through the leagues. That is for the Pl to decide. That’s why there’s a hold up because the EFL cannot make decisions. Only if the premier refuse to relegate three or just accept 2/3 increase in the Pl as is being suggested. If they accept the latter then there should be no relegation flowing through. If you know what I mean. The Pl will not relegate without the league being finished because the clubs involved would go to war with lawsuits in abundance. Whichever way we think it could become very messy. The least mess imho. To scrap the season.
Played at a neutral venue, no fans, over a different timespan with a different number of subs?they might as well say let’s play socially distanced tiddly winks for it, because it’s not the game as we all know it
Not disagreeing totally mate just see it differently. He is expecting the Pl to accept 3 teams up. It is down to the Pl to decide whether to relegate 3. And the one and only way they can do that without incurring massive lawsuits is to finish the season. It’s all about money. There is an agreement in place between the 2 administrations. To allow promotions and relegation between them both. Or the PL could throw the teddy out of the cot and go it alone. Just wish the European league threats would come to fruition and get shut of the Big guns. Sooner the better. Maybe now would be the right time.
