Haha gotcha! I made it up in response to @Kettlewell 'I'm not very good with abbreviations'. 'Is that reight?'
Arguable - playing for us Hourihane was definitely more effective, but without injury James would have been a regular in the Leicester starting 11 in the premiership - Conor struggled to be in the starting 11 in Villas promotion season and is not featuring at all now. I think James when fully fit is a better player than Hourihane but they have different roles and if I had a choice of one for the rest of the season Id go for Conor, both would be awesome but we arent going to have either. He will be good for Coventry
Can we dare to dream? James to go back in order to allow a cheeky bid for Hourihane? You know it makes sense.
I like James and he clearly has a lot of quality, but in my opinion, Mowatt is a far more influential player for us than Matty James has been.
Hourhine could win you a game out of nothing like the forest away game a few seasons back or firing the free kick home against Leeds. As good as James was for us doing the dirty work in midfield he rarely finished a full 90 this season for us if ever. And its irrelevant to say without injury he would have been this and that because he if had never got the bad injury with lecsiter we would have never seen him at oakwell.
Horihane was instrumental in getting Villa promoted. He's the sort of player that can cope with the expectation.
Nowt wrong with making people happy. Coventry fans have hardly had much to get excited about in recent times. WUM = Wholesome Upbeat Messenger.
