    People in most fields talk - so folk know whether it is about right or not.

    Plus there are online calculators for jobs and per region breakdowns, so you can get a steer off those.

    I’m not saying it’s a great idea, but bashing the club for doing something everyone does, is hardly fair.

    RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
    Barnsley Football Club ensure that applicants are entitled to work in the UK without approvals and have the appropriate documentation to validate this.

    "Everyone else is doing it" is one of the worst possible excuses for doing anything. It's a cop-out.

    Quite true. Won’t argue with that.

    However, if you’re a qualified sports turf worker, with experience, you’ll know roughly what a good wage is in the industry, and what a bad one is. That was my main point. Same applies to any industry.
