    Makes sense to me.

    James was never likely to start two games in 3 days after so long without playing.

    Palmer just unlucky. Can’t pick all 5 central midfielders & squeezing 3 on to the bench doesn’t make sense when you want different positions covered.

    Not surprised by Thomas, I think he’s been our worst player by some distance this season so far. I think he’s only been making the squad as we don’t have many wide / attacking midfielders
