Mixed feelings about this. Dropping Collins would have been harsh after two clean sheets in his last two games, plus I feel that Walton probably could do with a rest. On the other hand, Collins' last game where he did have to save some shots was away at Chelsea, and to be honest he was absolute toilet.

Best keeper in the squad not playing and one of best defenders in the league not playing. Bizarre selection.

And that’s before we mention Freezer and Vic.

Me neither and I agree with you, very hard to leave out any of the regular back three and Solly would be first name on the team sheet for me - should be captain.

Walton has not been doing enough to automatically keep his place.

If he gets dropped there's a reason and it ought to make him do better. If it ends up just knocking his confidence, he might as well chuck his gloves away.

Walton last game he got hammered on here by quite a few for not saving deeneys 75mph spot kick that was "straight at him" I prefer walton but there both decent imo both very young for goalkeepers and sometimes have a mistake in them.

That's it for me. It depends on if you judge players by their actions or simply by the score at the end. Actions wise I'd say Collins doesn't deserve a start but according to dreamboy he 'kept a clean sheet'. In reality they didn't have a shot on target.

I've got nothing against Collins, I hope he does well, I just worry it could cost us

We got a thread to use, or is it going to he this one?

I'll admit after years of saying I dont like merged threads, I'm finding the matchday threads quite good

Me neither, but Sibbick has done well recently, and the number of games every month this season is insane. I can see why Big Val has decided to rest him.

Personally I’d have been playing Walton and Sollbauer but we played very well against Norwich so I can see that point of view. I’m sure Val knows a bit better than us on here too.

I hope he's not starting Morris because he's easing him in and not because he's not better than we already have. Otherwise what was the point signing him. He has to be better than Frieser.
    Good to see Williams back.

When playing 3 big lads at the back we are a bit slow when we get turned, Sibbick has a bit of pace and a better turning circle than the others.

    Yeah. Great stuff.

Hope this hasn't knocked Collins' confidence.
