    Very moving.Lovely bloke Eric and a true legend who I had the privilege of seeing play in the red shirt of Barnsley Football Club many times. The hat trick against Watford is truly one of stuff of dreams that the fans never forget.

    Simply wonderful. I’m sure there’s more words to come & not just from Barnsley. A legend of the game, not just Oakwell.
    I never saw Eric play, but memories of fans that did are just as sweet as the tributes from players. Thanks. ;)

    Young, talented footballers. Your careers may take you to premiership or lower leagues. Whatever. Just know you played for the most beautiful football club in the world. & remember it forever.
    Do a good job in South Wales & at least get to play once at Wembley. Do it for Eric. :)

    A very interesting 33 minutes, watching Big Eric share his memories.

    I only wish he'd written a book of the many experiences in his career.

    Totally agree mate. I hope @Terry Nutkins and family will be able to document Eric's life and career at some point in the future
