    Off to Germany in a fortnight to see Hertha Berlin v Dusseldorf (my team). Friday night , 8.30 kick off. 1100 km round trip for the Dusseldorf fans.....4 hours minimum on the train going, 10 hours to get back as it finishes so late.....all for Sky :mad::mad::mad:.

    Luckily we fly out on the Thursday....went to the game last Friday in Dusseldorf. Flew out 8am that morning. Must admit we were kna(kered at the end of the day (by the time we got back to the hotel we'd been up 22 hours....drinking for 12 :D:D:D.)

    Last season Dusseldorf took 8000 fans be lucky to take 2000 this time.....it's easier for the missus and me to get there o_O

    Thats me getting great value out of my season ticket then - couldnt get to Leeds - could have gone on the Saturday was even up in Wombwell
    Cant get to Burton - Sundays just arent good for me
    Friday nights are not at all likely to happen either - this pesky working lark
    So thats home games on Sky - I guess an away game is a bit too much to ask

    Season ticket holder haven't been to a match since Fulham game. Missed Charlton and Luton game because I couldn't be arsed. Leeds game I was at a wedding on the saturday but found out it was on Sky n' top and bottom of it couldn't be arsed going.

    Carlisle game in cup knocked stuffing out of me but I've knocked 3 matches n' missed f cuk all. That says sumat.

    Added to that Laura (my other half is due on 25th October but might have to be induced).

    My next game will be 9th November.

    I think in fairness these changes are made well in advance at least.
    It was July 12 when the Leeds change was announced.
    8th July for Brentford.
    And now the Bristol game announced five/six weeks in advance.
    Not ideal for some, better for some.

    Luckily I get weekends off but it don’t half mess people’s plans up when buying a season ticket. F we think sky’s bad by sport is even worse. Worlds gone mad and football is becoming more and more franchise even in the lower leagues. I know I was only born early 90s but by god I miss the old days of my early days as bad as we’ve been :(
