Hopefully he still has a future with us, but only he and the boss will know what is required to bring him back in to the fold. Regardless of how his long term future plays out I'd like to thank him for his contribution to last seasons great escape, particularly the goal at QPR which got the momentum going after lockdown.
I'm not sure we'll see Elliott back after his spell at Donny, after listening to Big Val's interview this morning. It appears he has been acting very unprofessionally, and is not committed to his trade. He's not the first, and won't be the last, but it always gets to me when I see naturally gifted sports people, throw away their opportunity. I hope I'm wrong; he knuckles down, and comes back to our first team.

That makes me a lot more convinced that not renewing MJ's loan for the rest of the season was a footballing decision that VI's comfortable with and not a financial one. Still not convinced personally, but at this point as long as he's happy then so am I.
