yes, lets ask the question of the EFL and F A etc. - what are you in your official capacity doing to 'protest against racism and inequality?'
Kick Racism out of Football 'founded' 25 years ago - racism alive and well at football grounds - under-representation of some groups in senior positions in the game - nothing much has changed!

How patronising for the EFL to tell us we can 'take the knee' if we want to - when the governing bodies like them do little or nothing to address the problems.
By all means 'Take the knee' but lets also point the finger at those who have the power to change things and who so far seem to have abrogated their responsibility.

We recognise racist language/chanting etc and there are laws to deal with those who use racist language.

Booing is abhorrent but is it breaking the law? - not sure on this!

Fun fact. You don't have to break the law to be kicked out of a football ground

Interesting point; it could be argued that in modern society only high profile sportspersons and tv/movie actors actually get their fair share of profits from the industry they work in.

In fact you could go further to say that many footballers actually take so much money out of the industry that it relies on the deep pockets of stupid wealthy people to keep the business afloat.

Can you imagine if Amazon warehouse workers took such a high salary that Jeff Bezos needed billions of income from elsewhere to keep Amazon afloat.

For what its worth I won't be booing when any team'take the knee' because that's what they want to do and its an anti racist message for me. However, I dont think that necessarily means people who do boo are racist. Some will be but others may have an alternative political view of it's worth, may just be fed up with players kneeling down or may just be doing it to get attention (just because they like attention).
Edit: The EFL and other football bodies need to do more to stamp racist crap out of the game. Looks like a token statement to me at first glance
