Has anyone told Athletic Brewing that there are hardly any staff in the ground to help sell their produce in any significant numbers?

    Alcohol-free beer, beautifully complements our win-free / score-free / points-free games.

Khaled brought this deal to the table as there were cans handed out back at the first Q&A.

I think he knows the owners whereas I know the people who had the original importing rights. They also used to employ a long term friend who lined up the Viv Anderson interview for me during lockdown.

Aren't Parliament and Whoop American/Overseas companies? The owners had very little to do with those.

Actually the alcohol free gin does work well with tonic. Gin does have a taste and it tastes like a G&T rather than just a tonic. I’ve had it a few times when wanting to avoid alcohol

The botanicals used in different gins (there’s hundreds to choose from - hence the eruption of gin the last three years) are what combine to give you a good gin and tonic. Without that tonic can be seen as way too bitter by some when drinking ‘neat’. Adding a non-alcoholic gin just makes it a far more rounded and better drink.

But yeah, it’s a strange one really as it’s more a gin flavoured cordial when you think about it.

Cans of Nice on Virgin Atlantic. A million miles apart from mini bottles of Stowell’s or Jacob’s Creek - I had three of the Malbec on the plan yesterday.

I did a two hour consultation call with them about six month ago. Got me a free box through the post. Most beneficial two hours this year!

We're already "no alcohol" cos nobody gets served. So therefore introducing no alcohol beer seems a bit after the Lord Mayor's (no) Show.

If they moved away from draught beer during these 'tough' times they'd probably serve a lot more people. Would be worth considering.

A can of ale is better than nowt.

Not an alcohol free can however.

It's not one or the other though. Nobody has suggested that.

If I'm driving a can of AF is better than what else is available (unless it's freezing and it's Bovril weather).

I'm afraid at the moment its not one or the other either. It's just nothing, unless you want to miss the last 5 minutes of the first half or the first 5 of the second.

Hence me saying I wonder if cans only would help. Never suggested handing a can of AF out meant you wouldn't get a can of something else.

I've already said a can of ale would do. Please read previous posts

I read it. You then went back down the rabbit hole of saying it was one or the other again. Will leave it there.

Totally agree, not that it should be an either/or. As a diabetic, many's the time the token bottle of diet Pepsi has long gone before I've got anywhere near the front of the queue.
