    Let me explain something here.
    If you go to your local councillors or even your MP about planning issues then you are wasting your time.
    Basically because they have no planning expertise.
    Planners have degrees in planning.
    Our Councillors and MPs don’t.
    We rely on planners to make the right decisions.
    Bad planners make bad decisions.
    The only thing that councillors and MPs worry about is getting re-elected.
    When bad things are said on social media about the running of the council under their stewardship - that is the time - the only time - that councillors and MPs will sit up and listen.
    Barnsley Council Planning Department have a reputation for not understanding the needs of the Barnsley District.
    This bridge is another example to add to all the other examples.

    It’s sad that grown men can’t just go to the football and act adult, and that we need so many measures to control them.
    But even I think it looks a massive balls up by those in charge of all these road closures and what not.
    Shame for the club that it’s likely to affect the gate.

    The people were promised that the first world war would be over by Christmas.
