1. If we lose any more key personnel to the playing staff, I'd say our chances of 50/50 for auto & 66.666% recurring of promotion overall are diminished greatly.

2. He has had a great season & his assistant has been poached (for money) half way through the job.

3. English, he is OK with. If you have a coach you have worked with before they know your ethos, like Winkler did & HE COULD SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH (sorry had to do that for SOME reason).. If you are a Protestant, a Catholic, a Jew, Hindu, Muslim, Zorroastrian you know what you should be doing.... It is an ethos.

 

I'd suggest you pay a bit more attention too.

We've scored 7 in two league game since he left.

Went to the Premiership, I'm sure any league 1 assistant manager would do the same and no doubt went with Stendel's blessing.

Someone who can't run for more than 25 minutes its key personnel? - January doesn't half send some people barmy.

He's been replaced with two younger players already...

 

I'm unsure what point you are trying to make by severely edited quotes. (The last one was about Moncur, not Potts).

Can't be arsed with people who play silly games, unless you are called Janet. Are you George, or his dad, or just a wind up merchant? I've been trying to have a serious chat. I've based all my opinions on the facts that I have. Like most fans, we are completely in the dark over what is happening. There have only been statements about departures & arrivals.

 

I broke what you had written up for ease to address the points of a) Potts, b) Winker and c) Moncur - but turns out its gone way over your head.

Really intrigued what silly game I am playing, apart from calling out your statements as OTT rubbish.

I'm fully aware the last one was about Moncur... hence me saying how is someone who can run around for 25 mins considered key personnel? clearly isnt.

I said Moncur wasn't key to our team and you responded by saying I'm either a wind up merchant or George's dad - which doesnt make a great deal of sense in my eyes. Why would George's dad say he doesn't think he's very good?

If we exclude Moncur from the list of 'key personnel' that leave us with Potts and Winkler. If you had to choose between Moore, Mowatt, Dougall, Woodrow, Pinnock, Potts (and maybe even Thiam and McGeehan now) who would you rather keep? Potts is probably low down on the list. So although i'm sad to see him go, I don't really think he's key. He's not irreplaceable. Like I said, since he left we've got maximum points and scored 7 goals. Lets compare it to Sunderland who look to have lost Maja - their leading scorer - now that IS a key player.

I agree losing Winkler isn't ideal, but I'm sure he left with Stendel's blessings. No doubt he has someone lined up or knows someone else who can do just as good a job.

Feels like theres far too much doom and gloom regarding this January when at present all we've really lost is one first team player who isn't head and shoulders above the other 5-6 key players we have. Obviously if other players leave and are not replaced then questions need to be asked - but until that happens we surely shouldn't be crying that its a fire sale.

Stendel did say Potts wasn't his typical sort of player, so may have been regular, but with the fee, makes sense to offload someone you don't really want.
