Yes, I realised that! I just wanted to make my opinion on the Maybot doubly clear (in case anyone had any doubts!)

What closed narrow minds some of you have. I was not attempting to ' divert' the post 'away from the Tories' "as always"!!??
If the blinkered anti-Tory Left wing Corbynistas on here actually bothered to read post before the red mist descends they would have seen I was not condoning May, The Tory Party, Rudd or the coalition Govt in allowing this travesty. In fact I was extremely critical of them as the whole situation is totally unacceptable and indefensible.
Furthermore I am not a lover of the Tories. I tend to vote for the side, at a particular point in time, which is likely IMO to do the least damage. I have not always voted Tory and on occasions over the many years I have been entitled to vote have, in fact, voted Labour. That is what 'thinking people' do. Instead of blindly following a political party believing EVERYTHING one party does is the right thing and the opposition (Tories in this case) are evil and vile (the current 'in' word for the Left wingers) I look at policies.
Admittedly at the present time, I don't feel either party is worthy of my vote, but not to do so would be a cop-out. Much as I find voting for the current Govt unpalatable, the thought of voting for Labour given the makeup of the front bench and their pie-in-the-sky policies, all the promises they make without the detail to back them up would be inconceivable.
Again, that does not make me a Tory. In good years I tot up the 'for' and 'against' colums for each party before deciding. At the present time, depressingly, I find my self looking at the party with the shortest of the very long cons lists.

IMO neither party are remotely electable or fit for office.

I read the Economist, New Statesman, Guardian and the Times and try and make sense of the world we live in. I too have voted for several parties over the years. The mainstream media is so biased towards the Conservative Party you would have to be totally myopic not to see that.
