Nice one! Yes I was there against City, in the Brewery Stand. Me and me dad normally went in the Ponty but it was sold out by the time my dad got served. I drove up from Cambridge where I was working and didn't get back till about 1am. It was even later coming back from Liverpool....
Great memories and great stories from both of you I was 14 for the Man City Tuesday night game, went with my Dad and stood in the Ponty end where Aylott scored. I remember getting home and Mum and Dad let me watch the highlights on telly even though it was a school night lol I've got many many travel stories about night games (for another day) though as I lived in Reading from 1990 to 2018 and hardly missed a home or away game during that time
