    I see what you’re saying but as long as Yee was anywhere near for the run he was nailed on. Slightly scary moment when Luis caught him on the bike but once he responded it was never in doubt.

    Wonderful lifting by Emily Campbell. Well deserved silver.

    What a performance by the Chinese athlete though. Incredible to lift 20kg more than anybody else and make it look frankly easy.

    Another medal each for Jason and Laura Kenny. What a couple they are. Especially Laura to come back from giving birth and a broken shoulder and broken arm to show she's still one of the best in the world.

    Both of our teams were spent forces getting to the final. If you look at the times, our women's pursuit team were 4 seconds slower than in the heat and the men's sprint team were nearly 3 seconds slower than in the heat.
