That was about the most emphatic cycling victory I have ever seen. In any event. At any level.

    Simply phenomenal.

Think we were the only team not to crash! Totally dominated that one, brilliant riding from Laura and Katie!

You could see him coming and our lad tying up in front. If he could have his time again I think he'd relax a bit. Silver better than nowt but that one got away. It was like me watching some of the nags I back :D.

Yeah Kenny she's great. Muir has done well too. UK Athletics and the Lottery who fund athletes will be asking questions though with no Athletics gold medal for the first time since Atlanta. It's unacceptable when you consider the financial backing they get. For three of our best hopes to all get injured didn't help.

KJT probably would’ve got a bronze or silver. Dina had a real shot in the 200m. That’s a shame. The real issue is absolutely nothing in any of the throwing or jumping events. Events we’ve been strong at in the past like triple jump has no one coming through. 1500m looks good for men and women. 5-6 medals was probably the expectation but no gold is a shame.

I think we've done well in the athletics, made a lot of finals and some youngsters coming through. Shame about the injuries, I could have cried for Adam. You can't only do funding through good medals, else you could stop it for say Tom Daley in diving say and yet this year he got the gold .
