To the morons. Stay away your not welcome. We arrived earlier than expected. So I had a drink on the concourse. 2 clouds of red smoke. You damn idiots. Nowhere to go as you can’t take your drink into the sight of the pitch. Chucking ale just after shutters were closed. You need to grow up or stay away. Hope you get caught and banned for life. Irrespective of age.

Serious question not condoning smoke bombs or flares or bad behaviour but when wednesday or leeds come to oakwell I take it we wont be opening the concourse as as long as I can remember their fans have let smoke bombs and flares off climbed on the steel frames huddersfield fans even robbed the beer from the bar.

Agree with every word, I wasn't sure whether to go or not with the price. The behaviour of some of our fans makes me regret going more than the result.
Again forgetting about prices, I have already ruled out going to leeds now on the back of this. Think I'll stick to the longer trips which don't seem to attract as many of these idiots.

Serious question though, why were they not consficated prior to the match? And those caught with them appropriately challenged?

I've been to a couple of away games where there have been pyro dogs to sniff them out - I think it's time Barnsley hired one - and arrested and banned anyone found (I appreciate they're not 100% effective but the deterrent effect if we ban folk will help) Then a couple of token arrests for the idiotic song.

There's hundreds misbehaving but I reckon less than 10 arrests will cure the problems

Yep, last time we were at Fulham they had a couple of dogs, no fuss and no bother (although I think the dogs did sniff out a quite a lot of other banned substances being carried by certain elements too!)

Fulham is the one that stands out - a very cute Springer spaniel if memory serves.

But I've raised the concerns of visiting supporters last time when we were in this league leeds,Wednesday and united fans climbing the steels jumping off letting flares off in the concourse so they should shut the concourse at oakwell this time to wednesday and leeds fans based on the police tweet.

Then we need it on the home turnstiles for a few games.
Along with a PC to do the arrests rather than just confiscation

So let's get this right. A young person who suffers from diabetes and was accompanied by an adult has cans of sugary drink confiscated as they "might be a weapon" in spited of being advised of the medical issue, whilst some thugs manage to get smoke canisters/flares into the ground unchallenged.

    Ridiculous stewarding.

Have to wait and see. I suspect we will release a statement tomorrow about what went off yesterday. I would be surprised if our club didn't put their point of view across.

The police were MUCH more interested in keeping people *this* side of a yellow line instead of *that* side.

Confiscating pyrotechnics was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay down their list of priorities.

Not sure how true it is but I heard that people under the age of 16 can’t be searched (age determined by asking) so the younger ones were bringing them in, either those under 16 or those pretending to be.

This would surprise me. It’s not stop and search out in the streets but a safety search entering a venue. Surely everyone can be searched.

Enough is enough BFC ban these idiots dragging our club down. Employ professional spotters and evidence this behaviour. Ban them and provide this evidence to the authorities to prosecute. Action speaks louder than words.
