Look at where Grimsby are, look at where Chesterfield are, look what happened to Bury. Ask yourself what these teams have in common?? - They had owners that were only interested in making as much profit as possible. Unless our owners have a rethink on their operating model then i can only see it ending one way John Dennis legacy was the premiership league. Will our current owners legacy be Conference league??? Worrying times
What are you basing that on though? Southend have been financial mismanaged for several years by a series of unfit owners. You can say what you want about our current form on the pitch, and the apparent disarray off of it, but at least we're not being bled dry like Southend have. The two aren't comparable in the slightest.
But again, you're comparing the way our club is run, to clubs where the owners have spent vastly beyond the clubs means. If anything, our owners are doing the polar opposite to what was done at Bury.
I am not sure how your crystal ball has managed to come to such a devastating conclusion , you are comparing us to three clubs which frankly are incomparable , none of these three clubs fell from the championship to their current demise , name me clubs who have fallen from the championship to non league or please enlighten me to why you are convinced that our destiny is going to end in the way you prophecy .
