Redfearns/fanzone is (or was) Covid related, no? Ticket issues are completely out of the clubs hands, likewise with the North stand issues (stewarding/policing issue) The food situation is a joke, I'm not sure what the deal is with the contract these days but something has to change Can't argue about the scoreboard. No idea what the root cause is, but I can't imagine too many other clubs at this level don't have at least 1 working scoreboard Tannoy last weekend was the clearest it's been where I sit/Stand Can't comment on the toilets as it's not something I'm aware of
Fanzone is because of the joke decision to close one of the club's key access roads. Tannoy was way too loud where I was sat. Gave me headache. The club run the catering now so have nobody to blame but themselves. Stewarding issue is a club issue imo. A smaller league 1 club just down the road (Rotherham) made better decisions allowing them to have more away fans in than we can have.
Hi, My name is Lee and I run the public catering at Oakwell, please message/contract me directly and I'd be more than happy to listen to your concerns and observations. Thanks Lee
I thought it was a reasonably fine initial introduction to our new CEO. I will await further updates from him, as I cannot get to see him in person in the Garrison.
Can only comment on the the things that effect me , food ---I eat before I go to the match & I believe they are outside caterers so not the clubs fault I cannot comment on Fanzone as I have never been in it & have no desire to , not sure how important this is Redfearns shut, again I cannot comment as I do not use it, if I want a beer I will call at East Dene club but rarely bother on home soil Locked out/ card didn"t work , same issue I think , Ticketmaster at fault & club have hopefully got the problem sorted North Stand , what shambles ? all away fans so far catered for West stand --- I sit there , no shambles , love it Scoreboard issues---- it did not work at the last match & requires sorting , however I know the score because I am watching the match , no real problem for me, in fact they could take it out for me. Toilets out of order, cannot comment on the rest of the ground but in the west stand the toilet I use has been fine. Sorry I forgot the tannoy issues, cannot comment on the rest of the ground but the tannoy has been working crystal clear where I sit all season so far. To sum up it appears your match experience & mine appear to differ but I am quite happy with mine , what matters to me is what happens on the pitch but you obviously have different priorities , each to their own my friend
Simply put, buy more stock. It's that simple. Also try to decide what the difference between the alcohol and refreshment stands are because the overlap is quite substantial and a bit weird really considering they're literally side by side (which is something that has been happening for years so not new to you)
Hi, Thanks for your response, we do look at trends of previous games (Saturdays, Midweek etc). Like any food business wastage eats into profits, since restrictions lifted the homes games this season has seen higher than normal wastage. We are working with the all new kiosk staff to get used to the working environment and moving hot food around to satisfy fan demand (Half time). Since taking the catering back in house we have lots of ideas to move forward and hopefully enhance the fan experience. We added Guinness & Madri onto the East and we introduce it onto the Beckett & West shortly.
