But I asked a question earlier which was genuine. Did they sort out the transfer embargo because how can recruitment be their fault otherwise? And if they didn't sort it out, then maybe that's where the issue is rather than recruitment? They could only sign players from within their network who weren't good enough/wanted by the other clubs.
Reality is always more complicated than can be expressed in an irate tweet. But I'm left with the profound impression our owners don't devote too much thinking time to BFC, or some of their other clubs in their B list portfolio, and are not prepared to invest the resources necessary to compete.
I've no idea mate, was just commenting on the tweet and depth of feeling that I get from it. A good point about recruitment but as you say there may be issues outside of that at play here, and I'm sure there is.
Used one of those French-English translators: Saturday FC with the associations of supporters of Nancy, let's organize a rally and popular march against the current management of the club, the catastrophic sporting situation and the institutional organization that has plagued the ASNL since the early 2010s. The takeover of the club and the media words of the new group of shareholders (reorganization of the club, return to the local clubs of Meurthe and Moselle, investment in the Michel Platini center) have not given any follow-up! Worse, the President of the club Gauthier Ganaye is not present daily at the club to manage the current affairs and the urgency that the city and its supporters have been suffering for many years. The situation was already very worrying, but the prospect of a takeover left few opportunities for major changes before this one. Our club has experienced golden years, its new shareholders have expressed to restore it. ASNL has always defended itself from being a family and local club. What about today? Abandoned, put in the hands of shareholders who show no viable sporting ambition currently for the club and who have not made any changes, even minimal to rectify the situation. The ASNL for the first time in more than 50 years risks the descent into National which would see its collapse whatever these "shareholders" and its "president" may say. Tired of these years, we call on the lovers of yesterday, today and tomorrow of the great club with thistle to join us to demand change, and that the ASNL finally finds what it was and what it must be, a club with strong values. Join us on February 5th at Porte Sainte-Catherine to join the Marcel Picot Stadium and support the long-awaited change: - The public and concrete presentation of a club project for the ASNL by the shareholders and its president over 5 years with immediate effects: appointment of a D.G.A knowing the history of the club and respecting it. - Daily presence of the President. - Establishment of regular meetings with supporters' associations to promote that this project be held - Human investment in the Michel Platini training center so that the young people of the center find the values of the club and that the regional clubs are again involved in the club's project. - Appointments of former ASNL players, dismissed for too many years.
