I'd go with Allan Clarke, changed the whole mentality of everyone and brought some professionalism to the club.
... marine I did .....got dragged off the pitch through all the mud after slamming the busted cassey into the back of the net after dribbling the ball past the fat steward... wound my arm upwards to celebrate and next thing I knew lol flat on my face with my arm up my back PC plod dragged me off ..i also found how narrow the gap between the open doors were pmsl head hit each side...spent first half In the back of the police van...next thing I knew having fell asleep due to the amount of ale consumed I was being dragged out by the feet to be replaced by about 6 others who I believe got arrested ... slap at the side of the head and told to behave myself for the second half....happy days lol even though we lost lol
We took up residence in Champs Bar on the seafront every night and played off our hangovers the next day with beach football against the Wrexham fans. I didn't want that week to end.
