Once after stupidly deciding to not put any fuel in my car I waited and waited until the red light had been on for a couple of days. I managed to find a petrol station and fill up. I've since realised it's a better idea to put petrol in in advance as I know I'm not always going to be so lucky.

    Enjoy the nice day

TBH, I wasn’t thinking about Stewarding, more something we don’t see maybe work on the stand, facilities etc IDK, that if we didn’t sell out would have been a negative.

Not sure how feasible that would be. Couldn’t make the ponty an away end given the car park, ticket office and club shop are behind it.

You make some important, eloquent points, John. I don’t tend to voice much of an opinion, as I don’t get to enough games to make it valid.
But you’ve made me think a little bit.

If the club wants to be truly progressive, there’s a whole part of Oakwell there, doing nowt on match days, regardless of the size of whoever’s away crowd. Why not, on occasion, open that up for an integrated family section, where kids from different backgrounds/parts of the country can mix & make friends, in a safely managed environment?

& Whitey’s wonderful post from yesterday, where he thanked fans who get more involved on a voluntary basis, also twigged my lazy brain.

Parents could step up & manage such a project? Liaising with opposition families, due to visit & possibly reciprocate at their place? Me being a snowflake, looney lefty, sees no end of social & educational possibilities.

What do I know? Not having a kid, or even a season ticket.? :)

I blame Sheffield Wednesday for causing first leg jitters amongst our own supporters. ;)

Whatever the reasons are why we can't open half the weet stand and splitting the North stand is only available occasionally, the club need to strive to overcome them. It makes us look poor and is a negative for the supporters.
Appreciate this may be hard given the neglect the ground has had since Cryne and the council took control of it.

What some people fail to grasp is that season ticket holders don’t make up the majority of fans in virtually any club including Barnsley. Telling people they need to be more loyal to buy your product doesn’t seem Like much of a winning business model imho.
