You always think Thomas does well - even when he fluffed a hatful of chances like in midweek. And we're still waiting for the statistics that you said you would post that prove he's our best player.
Fluffed one chance. Other chance was on target.... What did the other players do to get it on target? Nothing
So he comes out top on one metric. Do you have the results for the amount of times he's lost possession, the amount of times he's snatched at chances and the number of blind alleys he's run down? He has one goal and four assists in 34 games. I think he has potential, but he must do better.
Seeing as Brown is 5th in the league in assists, and has also scored more goals then you're wrong again.
Yeah I agree with you that Brown is playing out of position. All jokes aside, I think Thomas has potential to be a decent player, but he has little to no end product. I also agree that he is playing out of position, he should be on the left hand side of midfield, using his pace and trickery to beat a full back and get balls into the box. But our delightful manager continues to play him on the right hand side of his precious diamond, which negates his threat. He still should be doing better though.
Thomas (imho) tried hard....i counted 7 through passes he tried and failed with. His pace his is main attribute but it just didnt come off for him against Reading. If Bahre had half the stats he had (passing wise) ..the lynch mob would have been out! It was just a bad day at the office ....all round.
