Simply the best two players at the Club. They and the EFL are the principal reasons we have another season in this Division.

We need to keep our best players. Mowatt and Woodrow are our two best players, consistently for the last two seasons.

Mowatt ain't good enough. Has been debated lots on here so I don't need to elaborate. People obviously disagree with me, however if people think hes our best player we are poor
Edit: As for Woodrow he doesn't fit the system properly so he tends to be ineffective.

The reason why Mowatt and Woodrow have not been prolific, is that the opposition
have cottoned on to them. As a result they are tightly marked with two members of
the opposition tight on them ready to put in a challenge.

On at least three occasions today, what should have been an easy ball to put Cauley through,
was overhit meaning what might have been an easy chance was unfortunately missed.
It's all about fine margins. They took their chance and we didn't. Still advocate we need to bring
in a couple of players who know where the rigging is.

That’s harsh on Mowatt. The 22 games is probably when he got moved to the holding role. Not many holding midfielders score goals. I don’t think anyone can question his commitment with the way he plays.

Palmer came on late in the second half allowing Mowatt to play further forward. Within 10 minutes he set Frieser up with an outstanding cross that should’ve been converted.

Let’s not forget he was one of the most creative players in the league before he was moved to a holding role last season

I think him and woodrow will go before window ends. Whiteman and a striker as replacements

So it’s not just infection stats you don’t have the analytical skills for :p

how many games has Walton played without scoring for us too - sell the lot; if they’re not scoring what’s the point of them.

Also comes back To us needing somebody to give a bit of ‘pay back’ to give Woodrow aN extra second or two or create him a bit more space.

Mowatt & Woodrow are two of our best players , they are both championship players with the experience we need , it is just typical of our fan base to turn on our better players & in the next breath berating the club for not putting vast price tags on the same players , well if these players demand such high fees, they must have the qualities what are in demand from other clubs & how do we replace them , surely if you need to bring players in as good, or even better & how do we fund that ? . We should be building around our better players not looking to move them on .

Mowatt plays better at the side of a big defensive midfielder to take the pressure off his dffensive duties, do the donkey work, allowing him to play more and Woodrow plays better at the side of a target man striker to do the hold up play, do the donkey work and feed off him.

Unless both these players get that option then we wont get the best of their talents, they will want to move otherwise their careers will go on hold here as is whats happening now.

Players dont fit to formations, team formations need to suit the players we have.

I see Mowatt and Woodrow moving on.

Tbh I think the service up to the front 2 was very poor majority of the time the was over hit or blasted to them making it very hard to control

We need a Darren Sheridan type player to play alongside Mowatt and a John Hendrie to play alongside Woodrow.
We're missing both types of players IMHO.

We play the ball out slowly from the back even going backwards from goal kicks, so when the ball is played to the midfield or forward the oppos are set marking men, which puts em immediately under pressure when the ball comes into their zone.

Cant remember last game that I could say someone in a Tarn shirt aint put in the effort. My memory aint the best but effort aint one I would question, ability then yes.
