With all seriousness and due respect to @fired, now we've all taken the p*** The point that a pro player should be able to play effectively with their weaker foot is valid. Mowatt is very one-footed, but sometimes I can't help thinking it looks far more obvious because he is SO strong on his left. Some players are just built that way. It's absolutely fair to say he could do better with his weaker foot, but I disagree that it costs us. It's just that he'd be an even better player than he is if he could play with his right too. Now what are we focussing on to enable the law of sod to help us for Saturday. Cauley can't score with his head??
Cauley hit a few like that this season with his preferred foot. Lot of lefties only use their reight foot for standing on.
I remember Norman Hunter for us , his right foot was for standing on , apart from that he never used it !
I was referring to the first ball that Chaplin played in to Mowatt’s left peg. That’s when I said “Hit it.”. Instead of doing just that, Mowatt laid it off to Styles, who gave it him back with the words. “ Jesus Cap (they call him Cap you know) Jesus cap, how close do you want to be before you tuck it away. For Christ’s sake, put it in the net.” So Mowatt obliged.
