    Just commented on that in another post. There were still people ripping the club for signing a lad and giving him a look. Almost like people are too quick to jump on someone or the club and deem them “*****” or “waste of money”.

    We might recoup the transfer fee and wages we paid him for a year. I'd be surprised if it was 35%.

    We got him for free as he was out of contract at Wrexham. His wages would probably have been covered in the sale to Accrington, and we stand to make a few hundred grand on him.

    That’s great business by the club.

    I wouldn't, as wasn't the fee we let him go for nominal? In such situations it's pretty normal for clubs to insert a very large sell-on clause just in case. We signed Gerry Taggart for around £50k if I remember correctly, but Man City inserted a 50% sell on clause. Likewise when we bought Cameron McGeehan Luton reportedly had to give Norwich half of what we paid.
