Your post was very well written and argued. At the moment however it doesn't change my opinion, but who knows what I will feel like in April/May 2020.

One issue that I'm having a problem with is that if I really don't renew, I'll miss the people around me in the ground (Ponty). I've enjoyed their company for about 3 seasons now and I've come to regard a couple of them as friends. I may be cutting off my nose to spite my face if I don't renew. I suppose there's no point in committing to anything now, and of course like all of us I reserve the right to change my mind. Who knows, maybe discussions like this may "sink in" and cause some changes? We'll see.
