Thing with ogbetta and this may be Conors tactic. ? I thought most of the 1st half he played left wing. Leaving us 3 at the back. When we drove forward in that second half we were leaving 1 on 1. When the oppostion Lump it up front. We leave ourselves wide open. Shepherd had to make 2 tackles of note. After the forward broke away.
Definitely thought same with 3 across back from kick off and majority of first half, Earl/Shepherd/Watson
The bottom line on all this is that its all down to the manager. Set-up, formation, tactics, energy. Hourihane us doing very well at the moment. Don't forget, regardless of new players (which it sounds like Hourihane has had a big say on anyway) most of the team were here last year and were inconsistent to say the least. So, praise the players by all means but give the manager a big thumbs up for those same players. Good managers get players playing well and, at the moment, it looks like Hourihane has the potential to be a good manager.
