    Hang your head in shame nudge. As someone asked. give us the benefit of your wisdom of a Better solution. That treats everyone without prejudice. The American people see our NHS as the best system in the world. Just a shame the Tories and their mega rich friends don't help fund it properly. Selfish b'strds.

    I'm with the vast majority of posters on this thread. My thoughts are with you and your dad.

    The NHS ought to be a shining beacon for the rest of the world to see, something they ought to aspire to. I, for one, will fight tooth & nail to hold onto this. I am personally indebted to this organisation and more importantly to those that fund it i.e. you - the public. I thank each and everyone of you that has contributed.

    Remember this. The Tory party originally voted against the NHS being set up - they are now trying to take the credit or moral high ground by all this extra staffing they are going to employ. The Tories are lying conniving evil people. Remember how they voted against the introduction of the minimum wage - now they are attempting to take the credit by re-branding it by calling it the national living wage. I could go on.... but above all else NEVER, EVER TRUST ANY TORY!

    It was actually, as you probably realised, a tongue in cheek comment. I doubt Nudger has even heard of Obama, never mind his efforts to spread health care in the USA to those least fortunate. The sort of thing that we in the UK have taken for granted. Until now that is.
