Can’t remember the last time I made so much noise watching a game on the laptop. Lots of oohs and aahs and big Yesssssss twice, and a third at full time.

Great performances all over the pitch and a well deserved result, and we must repeat that on Tuesday night now to get the crowd going again.

Ps shoulder/upper arm from Marc? I don’t think he headed it but WHO CARES!!

An enjoyable game and great to see us pushing further up the pitch, lots of positives that should give Clarke and the players a big boost.

 

Found myself running around the living when we scored the winner

 

We are always going to be suspect defensively at times but that was much more like it.

I still think the goal is avoided if we sub Phillips and Russell five or ten mins apart instead of ripping all the midfield apart in one go - but that is conjecture and overall it was a good solid away performance with some decent football being played.

Much better - and I would have said the same had we not snatched it at the end.

Need to back it up on Tuesday now. Not necessarily must win, but it must be a better performance than ones we’ve seen at home. If we match the levels of today we should get three points.

 

Imho...I felt we just about deserved 3 points.
Overall there was a response from before the international break and we looked better. Our press first half was very good and we stretched blackpool quite well.
I'm going to be more analytical than critical here and say that we still lack urgency all over the place and we need to get some shots off.
Lots of work to be done still....I'm going to enjoy the result and the improvement tonight and hope this is is where we start from, with gradual increases in performance week on week.

I stayed in my seat but nearly tipped over the little table that the screen was on. The VERY loud stuff from me must have travelled next door and I’m surprised she didn’t knock on the door to check I was ok!

 

Just found out that our beloved Beth was at the game with Kieron and I’m even more happy we won.
