Ratcliffe suggesting that England games could be played there. As the FA have a financial interest in Wembley why would they lose out on revenue by moving England games?
I can't see nothing but positives in it. * Wembley of the north. It should draw nearer events for us to go to that usually go to London. * Increase in jobs for the area. * Increase in the number of visitors to the area. * Vast increase in billions going in to the economy. * Huge modern looking fan zone. * Environmentally friendly set up.
A Capital Investment scheme is far easier to finance, get grants and Local Government support for. Maintenance Budgets are not. Hence why most big projects for local authorities are built and often poorly maintained going forward - no money for the maintenance. All crazy, but true.
What a suprise a Man City fan with a biased opinion on Man Utd's new stadium, thank goodness I'm impartial and still think it looks great
Great that these new era stadiums are looking incredible, looks like we have gone past the era of the boring Southampton, Donny, Leicester, Millwall etc etc stadiums
Agreed....which also emphasises the stupidity of building so many public buildings with flat roofs...we went to a parent's evening at our son's one year old Academy...water was pi**ing in and the ceiling tiles were stained all over the place.
