I think it's a bit harsh to say Watters wasn't trying. He won 3 or 4 flick ons, but he was brought on to keep the ball up front, and that's not his game. It was the wrong game to introduce both Watters and Jalo into, and both were ineffective. If anything, Cosgrove would have been a better option, and presuming he hadn't picked up a knock, leaving McAtee on. Neither Watters or Jalo are impacting games at the minute, and with how much pressure we were under from Wigan, and the slender lead, bringing them both on was only inviting further pressure.
