Nobody is whipping up sentiment. More whipping up numbers so they can show the sentiment which is already there. And to you and RAC, what is wrong with trying to stir some of the ad hoc fans into attending to give the man who saved the club a fitting send off? There will always be those who can’t attend games, for health, financial or location reasons; maybe work or family commitments. Obviously fair enough. But those that come as and when, those who sometimes can’t be bothered, those who are moaning at the price of the Wednesday game, those who haven’t decided if they are coming saturday or not - I feel it’s right to call to those fans so we can stand together and show his family and the world how much Patrick Cryne is appreciated. There is nothing at all wrong with being an occasional supporter. The club doesn’t survive on season tickets alone, and not everyone can commit the time or money to a full season. But those who could attend on Saturday, I think it’s fair to ask that you do. I’m not backing away from that request.
