West Brom are 4th but Stoke and Swansea are 15th and 14th, shows how hard it can be.

do not see Southampton or Burnley winning this week-end..... but next week it could well be curtains for Huddersfield, and if not then for sure the week after.... Its just inevitable for them to drop now.

And they came down with 31. 33 & 33. Huddersfield won't get anywhere near that the way they're going.

They've only got 14 points from 31 games and could come down very humble.

Totally agree Helen. One game Hristov played in was the play off final against Ipswich at Wembley.
Barney's missed spot kick cost us dear, but Hristovs point blank miss with only their keeper Wright to beat, was also
a watershed moment. We had played consistently well during that season and in truth, we deserved to
win that game and take our well earned place in the top division. I always had the feeling during that
campaign, that irrespective of what any of our opponents did , our mantra seemed to be "you score four
    and we'll score five."

Hristov never appeared (to me) to be fully fit, especially after the injury...

    Point blank miss?

Sorry, that’s just wrong. It was a great header with a world class save from Wright.

It was performances like that as to why Arsenal signed Wright later on. Although his career when downhill after that.

Hristov was a good player - but his 1st season was about adapting to the PL and a new country. His 2nd season he did his knee in. And his 3rd season was about getting his fitness back and back into the game. The 3rd season he showed his real potential, but he was still recovering from his injury.

For me, with the increased personal support and better understanding of the issues of a new club and country that clubs have these days, if Hristov signed now, he’d have settled a lot quicker. Shows how much football has progressed in this respect.

Same can be said for Alex Krizan too. He did eventually break into the team a couple of seasons later and showed his promise..... then broke his leg.

Hudds could deservedly go down this weekend... and we could deservedly at least earn a play off place. (although Im sure none of us want that do we!)
