We live in strange times.. To disagree, criticise or even denounce as irrelevant someone isn't hateful.
Totally agree...unfortunately people get a kick out of trying to wind fans up...surely a true fans priority is to want to know any news before attacking another member
I hope the chat went like " the owners have decided to change tack and speculate more than they really wanted too and were going for it this season .
He knows we need to go for it. He understands that the playing style vanished. The club player wise is totally different under conor it's professional and strict. Conor will be class and manage at a high level
Spectemur Agendo. I’m sure Mladen talks very well, he’s convinced Neerav we are a top four squad and kept his job whilst two previous managers have been discarded. Points tally and style of play by the end of November will be far more meaningful than a sales pitch. His past dealings have not been the bedrock to build a promotion push on. Nice people can be totally inept in their role.
The word hate is bandied about all the time ' just to disagree with someone now is to " hate" them' very strange.
Personally, I've always been more inclined to wait for the club to officially announce things. With the most competent individuals and best will in the world, there are always possibilities of deals not going to plan. At this stage, all we have are platitudes. I'm not criticising the club for trying to say things will be better, but anyone with a reasonable and fair outlook should be inclined to wait to see just what business gets done, the way the squad gels and the style of football until at last october/november. Especially given recent history of our transfer activity and how its been positioned despite the evidence of our own eyes. I'm pleased for you that you feel happier after your 10 minute EV charging rendezvous, but personally, I don't see any value on what he can impart. He's got to try and be positive, he's got to give a pro club view, he's got to say good things about Hourihane and if he's hinting at bodies through the door shortly, well that's to be expected given we have to put a team on the pitch. But nothing he could have said to you without being completely unprofessional will alter my view until evidence is presented over the first few months of the season. I think thats a sensible and rational approach.
What's the point in taking the time and effort to type all that. U could have just been normal and dm me without sarcasm
Well that's actually it.. It's nothing personal. Most people would be pretty indifferent to who the DOF actually is.. But whoever it is will always be judged on if they have their finger on the pulse in interviews. And of course results on the pitch and transfers
