I agree, he lied about Angus, so we can surely take anything he said about what he did or did not say about recruitments with a big bag of salt. clearly he said different thing depending on what suited him - hence were all arguing about it now - like Brexshit - the more vague you are, the less anyone can pin you down to an actual fact.

 

What is it with these French based players (and before anybody starts, this is NOT a racist thing!!), as both Thiam & Cavare have always looked overweight and unfit for the whole season. Who deals with our players fitness by the way, surely they arent doing their jobs properly.

There's loads of questions about team selection, tactics, formation, heart and ability from today's performance and most of them probably arguable either way but what I simply cannot understand is why our consistently best player at this level, one of the best in his position in the division and one who is sought after by Premiership clubs was not in the team.

I can't be arsed having a go at Cavare - he just shouldn't have been out there, full stop. Yids should play every game unless injured.

The point I’m making is that it’s the quality of player you go for.

We have up teen midfielders and not one of them has made the grade yet. All the fees and wages should’ve been thrown at a player like Martyn Waghorn for example

The “plan” as I keep hearing, only works if the players brought in have huge potential and re sale value

In league one, when the likes of winnall and scowen were brought in, even though they took a season to adjust, you could see how good they were

I’m all for signing youngsters, but you need to mix it with experience and we’ve only realised that in January.

If anything, we are lacking quality and guile above all else
