Reading were confident from the off that they could beat the press and very often they did and just played through it, zapping energy levels further. They also played like a team short on confidence who knew three points secured their season. We hugged and puffed but ultimately just weren’t very good. I’ve seen the mention of good chances but I can only recall 1 or 2 half chances really rather than a handful of clear goal scoring opportunities.
