    Agree completely. Its not surprising you're saying men essentially are less likely to ask for help. Very sad all round.

    My wife has been sectioned twice, even then the help is not great, the services are overwhelmed.
    A strong and understanding support network goes a long way.

    Thanks Andy, she's ok apart laid up after an operation on her knee which will probably finish her football career.

    ive lived with it for 35 years. its only in the last 12 months i felt able to talk about it and wish id done it sooner, its cost me a marriage 2 x bankruptcies and jobs
    still hate myself some days but coping so much better
