So merde what you are saying is mcatee is the payer we have been after since June and we are now just completing it now, sorry don,t buy it. More likely is we can, find anybody so better the devil you know.
It’s likely that he’s only just become available because they’ve signed another striker from Middlesbrough. Form suggests that he’s probably better than what we thought we might get… (Clement Rodrigues)
I’ve not read or heard anything regarding sell-on for DKD apart from 1 from a Mansfield fan. The link I spoke about was from the o/s
I have absolutely no idea! But whatever the circumstances I'd welcome him back as I think he'd further improve and more importantly add balance to an already very decent squad for this level.
He'd be a great signing. 25 league and cup goals the past two seasons. Absolutely nothing desperate about this move.
Would love him back at BFC . And always looked dangerous when he came on for Bolton . Good signing if it happens
If true then a loan deal (probably with an option or obligation to buy) makes a lot of sense from a cash flow perspective as it puts back paying a fee until January or the summer when we'll inevitably sell DKD. It'd be nice if we could have both of them for a period of time....
Probably wanting to pay of season if we go up with the extra money that brings or sell DKD if we don't.
Our board aren't skint arch.. it is a self-tightening of our belt through necessity. A cost cutting, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't or couldn't back Conor if they thought it was good business and advantageous to the team or club.
Well the owners obviously seem to have accepted to absorb the 8 million potential losses by not selling dkd...I think they believe in conor and want to support him
They already are putting in a significant amount of money in, and we're still losing cracking on for £10m a year. I'm glad they're not going down the route of throwing money at us to try and force their way into the Championship, and subsequently Premier League. Because when they decide to call it a day, somebody has to pick up the pieces. Covering the losses that they already do isn't a sustainable practice either.
