    I'd only not want McAtee if he was joining because we'd sold Phillips or DKD. But if we'd sold one of those two irrespective then I don't see the problem. Was a massive success for us last time in a poor side (at least entertainment-wise). Scores goals, can play in several positions up-front, and is well known to have an excellent attitude and be a positive influence in the dressing room. As others have said, he's exactly the sort of player who'd thrive under Conor.

    The treatment of Adam Hammill when he came back with Scunthorpe was appalling, 6/7 months earlier he was one of the few that came and acknowledged the fans after our pathetic relegation at Derby.

    Of course I have I liked McAtee’s effort but the end product wasn’t there, Lily he was scared to get his foot through it, always tried to walk it in.
    Here’s one for you I actually rate MDG definitely needs improvement but there’s summat there

    Yes in the promotion season under Struber, got took out by Thiam in the area, didn't get the decsion we broke away and scored, he wasn't happy with the ref and subsequently got absolute dogs abuse from sections.
    Got subbed off in 2nd half to chants of Wan*er.

    He scored 12 and set 5 up for us. Not exactly Harry Kane numbers like, but not terrible for someone you say has no end product. I do think he needed 3 chances before he took one, but in this side I think he'd be more prolific.

    The report I saw he didn't exactly say that.

    He just said he was there player and he thinks they'll need him at some point as it's a long season. If they have got this Forss lad confirmed too, McAtee is even less likely to make match day squads. He isn't going to be happy as like what 4th choice striker
