If Styles is so average let's see what the experts who make top decisions on signings think about him.
I would bet anything he will play at Premier league level next season.
I'm no expert but he is potentially a very good player with the right coach.

When I meet people in the pub, we're all able to talk about players we like, players we don't rate, have a laugh, enjoy ourselves. Whenever I give an opinion on here it ends with someone, often you, attempting to attack my personality after chasing me around the board undermining me, just because I don't rate a player all that much, and yet haven't actually slagged him off.

Seriously, have a word with yourself.

I think they all needed to take some responsibility last season and few of them did. They all looked out of place compared to the previous 12 months too. Unfair to single Styles out for his commitment or lack of in my opinion. They were all to blame.

Now we have a new season and the ones that stay need to bounce back. Styles may stay or he may go, but while he's our player I'll back him, personally.

I'll take that. Tenner to a charity of choice?

If he were to be sold last summer I think you'd have a good shout, but after this season I can't see it. Despite our changing styles to maximise sale value

I must be in a minority here because I thought he played OK...just like his team mates ...stuck to their game plan got behind the ball snuffed out the English press which per norm was as weak as p1. ss
Not only that he represented his country of choice whilst still under contract at Barnsley
So we'll done Callum Styles you've done not only yourself but us proud too

Game was passing him by in the second half not suprised he was substituted. But a proud moment representing his country and club and what a result. Should be extremely proud of himself. Should give him confidence to move forward with his career, after an underwhelming season with us last year.

I have decided to try not to have an opinion and if one pops up I'll push it back down so that I don't do anything daft like share it.
BBS life is easier that way.

I don't agree with you on Styles but happy to read your thoughts on the matter. **** I let an opinion slip out.

I was at the game and therefore had the opportunity of being able to watch him off the ball as well. I thought he was outstanding in the first half, helped Hungary stay compact and keep brilliant shape in midfield positions and must have mugged Phillips half a dozen times, including for the free kick that led to the first goal. The shape and discipline was what led to the constant boring balls across England's (then) back four as they didn't have any outlets, and Guehi in particularly wasn't willing to risk any sort of pass forward.

Put it this way, he comfortably outplayed Phillips and Bellingham who have a combined transfer market value of about £100m.

I think you're incorrect, and if we watched the game back I'm quite confident I could make a very good case to support my opinion.

why has pogba looked awful for the past few years when he was brilliant for both Juve and winning the World Cup with France.
Why has lukaku looked like victor after tearing it up at inter.
I could list hundreds…there’s a lot more to it than just talent and work rate
