Seems sensible to me, unless you absolutely need a specific location just stay away. The more people use a place the more chance of spreading the disease. If everybody would just be sensible surely we would have more chance of the cases decking more quickly.
Well you live and learn. I've always thought that dogs just knew the way to every shop that an owner may need (yes I know it makes no sense) and it's took till you said that for me to realise it's the owner who knows the route.
I go for a couple of runs per week, have done for nearly 10 years now and I’m feeling slightly bad that I’m out during this time but working from home Monday to Friday without running, I’d probably go crazy within 2 weeks. Tuesday it was pretty empty but yesterday I saw so many people casually strolling around. I think we’re playing fast and loose with the word “exercise” here but who am I to decide? I’m sure they’ll argue that it’s their exercise and their way of escaping the house and you can’t really argue with that. I’m not leaving the house until my Monday night run now but I’m pretty confident that I’ll see even more people walking about than I did yesterday. As a slight side note, on my run yesterday I also saw 2 kids (99.99% sure they’ll be kids) bombing round on their little moped scooter things, you can’t tell me that they’re making essential journeys but I’m sure they’d say they are if caught out.
According to Michael Fish there's going to be a storm this weekend, so it would better if we all stayed in our shells for a bit.
Going for a stroll once a day is exactly what people should be doing. As long as they maintain a distance and dont touch anything. My daughters are taking it in turn to run and then the other walks the dog with me.
A lot of the people I saw last night weren’t keeping their distance. One woman was sat stroking a dog at the feet of the owner. 2 more women were leaning over a fence drinking wine with each other about 2 yards apart. Maybe they’re all in the same household and I’m just cynical but I’m not so sure.
I don't think there's any issue with one person drinking wine in 2018 and another having a drink in 2020
