    Christ, those Indian batting averages are a worry! All batsmen down to No.7 averaging over 40, and most of them look true averages, rather than false ones after playing just a couple of tests!

    Just shows you how much we rely on Root to score the big totals...

    Should have declared with 30 minutes left to bat, India wouldn't have wanted that; 2 goes at the openers with the bowlers fully rested and raring to go.
